1959-1969

This period marked the initial stage of factory establishment and the trial production phase of glass machinery. The main production focus was on repair, modification, and the manufacturing of certain light industrial machinery products. In early 1964, the Bureau of Machinery under the Ministry of Light Industry reassigned the production of the feeder machine—originally planned for the Shanghai Xinghuo Machinery Factory—to our factory based on our actual production capacity. From that point onward, our factory began manufacturing glass bottle and container machinery.

1959

In February 1959, Jinan First Machinery Experimental Factory, the maintenance workshop of Shandong Paper General Factory, and Zhoucun Machinery Experimental Factory were officially merged to establish Shandong Province Light Industry Machinery Factory (the predecessor of Shandong Sanjin), under the administration of the Shandong Provincial Department of Light Industry.

1964

In August 1964, the C-type feeder passed both cold and hot commissioning tests, meeting all design specifications. The Bureau of Machinery of the Ministry of Light Industry approved mass production, marking the starting point of the factory's transition into glass machinery manufacturing.

1967

The QD4 IS (Individual Section) bottle forming machine was completed, ending China's reliance on imported IS machines.

1973

In accordance with Document No. (73) 32 issued by the Ministry of Light Industry, the factory independently designed and manufactured the QD6 IS machine based on the QD4 model, and upgraded the matching feeder based on the original 3240A model.

1977

In December 1977, the self-designed QD6 IS machine passed technical appraisal in Yantai and was approved for mass production.

1978

Surveying and reverse engineering of an eight-section double-gob IS machine imported from the United States began.

1982

The company ended mixed production of glass machinery, paper machinery, and other light industry equipment, entering a new phase focused exclusively on glass container machinery manufacturing.

1983

Hank Wainu, General Manager of Emhart's Singapore representative office, led a delegation to conduct technical inspections and exchanges at the factory.

1986

Production capacity expanded steadily, and with China's transition toward a market economy, operations gradually shifted from a planned economy model to a market-oriented system.

1988

The BLH8×127 double-gob IS machine was developed and manufactured, and it passed technical appraisal in 1989.

1994

A joint venture, Qilu Moer Glass Machinery Co., Ltd., was established with Moer Company of the United States; the joint venture concluded two years later.

1995

The BLBM and BLDL series annealing lehrs and the QDA IS machine were recommended as "China Packaging Premium Products" by the China Packaging Technology Association.

1997

The factory was renamed Shandong Sanjin Glass Machinery Co., Ltd., and was recognized as a "Shandong Provincial Technology Development Center" in December. ISO9000 certification was obtained in October 1998.

2004

Ownership reform transformed the company from a state-owned enterprise into a private joint-stock company, establishing Shandong Sanjin Glass Machinery Co., Ltd.

2008

The company relocated as a whole, investing RMB 240 million to construct the 200-mu Sanjin Industrial Park, laying the foundation for sustainable development.

2011

A successful joint venture was formed with Emhart, a subsidiary of Switzerland's Bucher Group. An investment of RMB 150 million was made in high-end CNC equipment and coordinate measuring machines.

2012

Joint development of the CIS bottle forming machine and high-performance glass container inspection machines.

2013

Full implementation of the "Rebecca" project.

2014

The HS10-140 next-generation glass machinery and servo angle shear mechanism passed technical appraisal, reaching an internationally advanced level.

2015

The HSP-108×2 triple-gob IS machine and GS 89×2-III passed technical appraisal.

2016

The CIS 5'' 12-section double-gob IS machine was successfully commissioned.
